Furniture Command Center (FCC) is committed to protecting the privacy of those who use our application and service. Amendments to this statement will be posted to this URL and will be effective when posted. Your continued use of this site following the posting of any amendment, modification, or change shall constitute your acceptance of the amendment. We will notify the primary customer contact by email when significant changes are made to the privacy policy.
We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, information about the pages consumers access on the website, and information voluntarily submitted by the consumer (for example, filling out a survey or service registration form). The types of information that may be requested include your name, company name, address, and telephone number.
The information we collect is used to improve the quality of the service, to communicate information about the service, to bill your account for services provided, for research, and to contact you about your account when necessary.
The following are examples of when FCC shares dealership information with other parties:
1: When training or discussing the features and customization of FCC we reserve the right to mention how other FCC dealerships may use a feature. For example, it's often helpful to hear generalized information about why some dealerships choose one feature/customization over another. We share information and examples of this type of information within the FCC community where appropriate.
2: We disclose dealership names and primary contacts, when required, for integration with manufacturers. For example, if we are enabling a new integration with a manufacturer, we often must list the dealerships that sell a line in order to enable that feature or functionality.
3: We disclose dealership names and number of users to Configura as required for licensing manufacturing catalog data.
4: We disclose general dealership information to other third parties, as directed by you, when creating integrations with other products. For example, you may direct us to integrate with a third party service on your behalf, and in those cases, we may be required to disclose some information to complete this request as needed. We work with each dealership in these instances so that you are aware and approve of the information shared.
5: Finally, we may share dealership names, generalized information, and geographical area to prospective dealerships during a demo or walkthrough of FCC.
Use of Cookies
When you use the FCC service we may store some information on your computer. This information will be in the form of a "cookie" or similar file. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive, not on the FCC website. We do not use cookies to spy on you or otherwise invade your privacy. They cannot invade your hard drive and steal information. Instead, some pieces of randomized text is used to match your computer with authenticated sessions on our service.
We use cookies to help you navigate the service as easily as possible, and to remember information about your current session. You must enable cookies on your web browser to use the FCC. In fact, you must have cookies enable for almost every web application that requires authentication.
Security and Storage
The FCC service has industry standard security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. While there is no such thing as "perfect security" on the internet, we will take all reasonable steps to insure the safety of your information.
Additionally, you retain all rights of ownership to the data you have stored on the service (see Data Ownership below). We will not sell or share this data with any third-parties or use this data to compete with you or advertise to your clients. Your privacy and the privacy of your clients are of utmost importance to us.
Data Ownership
Furniture Command Center provides a product as a software-as-a-service solution. As such, the data entered into the application is always the property of the customer. At any time, and with proper advanced notification, Furniture Command Center will be happy to provide you with your data. We will work with you to provide the information in a mutually satisfactory format. If you do ever decide to leave us for another product (we'd be sad to see you go), we will work with you or your new provider for a seamless transmission of your data. You are never "locked in" with our product.
